What schwur.ch is

schwur.ch shows Swiss political proposals, their possible impacts and the sources behind them. We do not make voting recommendations. schwur.ch is not an official service and is operated by Fürst Informatik GmbH; the official publications are authoritative.

How reliable the content is

Every statement on schwur.ch leads to a stored source. Errors can nevertheless occur. Figures marked ‘example value’ have not been editorially reviewed. Translations are machine-made and have not been reviewed; the German original is authoritative. If you find an error, write to fuerscht@gmail.com.

Your account

You can read without an account. If you create one, do so with an email address that belongs to you, and only one per person. Keep your password secret.

If anyone misuses schwur.ch technically, for example with automated mass queries or attacks on the sign-in, we may block their account or access.

Discussions

Once schwur.ch offers discussions, the following applies: posts appear immediately and are not moderated. The author of a post is solely responsible for it. Posts must comply with Swiss law. If a court or an affected person rightfully demands that a post be removed, we remove it.

What we ask:

• About the proposal, not the person.
• No insults, no threats, no discrimination.
• Facts with a source, opinions as opinions.
• No advertising, no campaign appeals for elections or votes.

Sources

The sources belong to their publishers. schwur.ch cites them with their origin and retrieval date and links to the original.

Liability

schwur.ch is free of charge. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of the content. The operators of other sites we link to are responsible for those sites.

Changes and applicable law

We may change these rules; the date below shows when they were last updated. Swiss law applies.
