Each card breaks its spending down into own, transfer, financial and investment spending (CHF million); together they make up the large figure. «From other departments» is part of own spending. The largest offices are ordered by own plus transfer spending. * The subsidies come from the subsidy database, not from the accounts. They are mostly transfers, partly investment contributions, and therefore not an arithmetic part of transfer spending. Where they exceed it, a star is shown.

From the departments to the Confederation as a whole
Federal offices charge each other for services such as office rent and IT. When one department buys from another, both book it: one as spending, the other as income. Within a department this is already netted out, between departments it is not. The Federal Finance Administration takes these amounts out again in the column «Elimination»: 1’132 million CHF in 2025.

91 of 91 checks hold within the printed rounding. 2 rows stay open: the Finance Administration prints a dash there instead of a figure. Spending per row (current plus investment spending) and the sum of the segments are computed by schwur.ch; every other figure is printed.
